AnnaRose Etra

AnnaRose Etra serves as Business Operations Manager at The Recovery Doctor, bringing her multidisciplinary background in healthcare administration, data analytics, and direct patient care to the organization’s mission of expanding access to quality psychiatric and addiction medicine treatment.

AnnaRose earned her undergraduate degree in Developmental Psychology and Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has since gone on to complete her Master’s in Healthcare Administration at UCLA. Her academic foundation, paired with a lifelong commitment to mental health advocacy, has shaped a career centered on improving patient outcomes and strengthening the systems that support them.

Prior to joining The Recovery Doctor, AnnaRose worked at an Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization Program (IOP/PHP) in Los Angeles, where she gained valuable experience in direct patient-facing care. In this role, she played a key part in growing both the psychiatric and addiction medicine departments, with a focus on improving continuity of care and enhancing the overall treatment experience for patients.

AnnaRose also holds certification as a pharmacy technician, a distinctive credential that gives her an in-depth understanding of medication prescribing, specialty prescriptions, prior authorizations, and pharmacy support processes. This background allows her to bring a unique, patient-centered perspective to her operations role—helping ensure patients have the support they need around medication affordability, access, and compliance.
