Shaza Hummel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience in primary care, addiction medicine, and mental health.She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Azusa Pacific University and completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing at California State University, Los Angeles. She also holds bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
Shaza has experience in critical care, clinical research, and inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment. She provides evidence-based, patient-centered care and works with patients to develop individualized treatment plans for mental health and substance use disorders.Outside of work, Shaza enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and picking fresh fruit.
